Order cancelled

I placed and paid for an order at 11.30, thereafter waited patiently until 1am, when I used the WhatsApp to ask about my delivery. The representative called me and told me the order was cancelled due to not being able to connect on the phone! When I had provided TWO numbers and when he got connected instantly. Then he kept on lying about trying to get through which they hadn't bothered to at all.
The refund process is gonna take 25 days and they offered no form of apology or compensation.
Logically speaking too, order has been placed and paid for in advance. Exact location details with landmarks has been provided. So why on earth would you cancel an order and not even bother contacting the customer.
