Order cancellation

I confirmed a dress order and it straight away cancelled it. Although I selected confirm called on helpline asked them to modify they told me to wait for 24 hours and when I called them today they said oh your order is in cancellation and when I said that you people said me to wait and you said it's just modified but still now I want my order
