The company's inception occurred when founders Sidra Qasim and Waqas Ali encountered a group of artisans in their hometown of Okara. Inspired by the craftsmanship they witnessed, the duo recognized the lack of recognition for artisans in developing countries like Pakistan, India, and Vietnam. Determined to change this, they embarked on the journey of creating Markhor.
